An inventory management system like Webship Online aims to continuously evolve to meet the needs of its users. To meet both current and future requirements, we have launched a major update: Webship Online 2.0. This update includes not only visible changes but also numerous underlying adjustments. Thanks to these changes, we can more easily add new features to our cloud application in the future. In short, we have laid the foundation for many more updates! Which ones? Read below:

Handy New Features

We haven’t just made internal adjustments—this update also includes many changes and new features that you can use right away. Here are some of the most exciting updates. The biggest change is undoubtedly the redesigned look & feel of the application. We now use a clearer font and more pronounced borders, making the screen easier to read, even in less-than-ideal lighting conditions, such as in some warehouse environments.

Additionally, we have integrated an overlapping page system. This means you can navigate from one page to another without losing information and with fewer interruptions. For example, you can now add a new customer directly from a sales order.

We’ve also expanded the filter system for sales orders, purchase orders, products, suppliers, and customers. There are now more options to filter what you want to see—or what you don’t want to see. For example, you can ensure that sales orders from a specific store do not appear in the overview. Furthermore, we have added new display options, allowing you to customize the overview screen to your needs. This is an interesting feature because every entrepreneur works differently and wants to see different types of information.

Small Updates

In addition to the major updates, we have also introduced several small improvements. These minor updates enhance the overall user experience with Webship Online. Here are some noteworthy ones:

  • You can scan a barcode anywhere, not just on the dashboard.
  • The dropdown menu for a purchase order or sales order now shows the most logical next status.
  • The Webship Online team can send push notifications to users.
  • Digitally picked sales orders can be packed immediately.
  • A new feature shows which products are preventing the calculation of total purchase order costs.
  • The pick list now provides a better overview of the number of items to be picked at a specific location.
  • Improved display for importing and exporting data.
